Questions
What counts as “compute”?
Active room time, measured in player-minutes — one player connected to one room for one minute. Empty rooms suspend automatically and stop billing, so idle games cost nothing.
Do you charge per seat?
Never. Team size, number of developers, and number of projects don’t affect the bill — only what your rooms actually consume does.
What happens when I exceed the free allowance?
On Production, usage past the monthly allowance is billed per unit at the rates above. On Prototype, allowances simply reset the next day — nothing is charged.
Can I cap what I spend?
Yes. Set a hard spend cap and usage alerts per project in the dashboard. Hit the cap and new rooms pause rather than run up a surprise bill.
How is voice billed?
Only if you use voice rooms, per participant-minute. A four-player voice call for ten minutes is forty participant-minutes. No fixed fee if you never turn it on.
Is there a free trial for Production?
Production starts with the same free monthly allowance for everyone, so you only pay once you outgrow it. No trial clock, no expiry.
Start free. Scale when you ship.
No card to build. No seats, ever. Deploy your first room in five minutes.
